Start Rocking With Cage The Elephant

If you’ve ever heard the song “Ain’t No Rest for the Wicked,” then you probably know of Cage The Elephant. For those who don’t, they are a very multi-talented group of guys originally from Bowling Green, Kentucky. The lead singer, Matt Shultz, is like a modern day Iggy Pop with a little bit of Mick Jagger thrown in. He’s known for his energetic dance moves and crowd surfing. The band is always aiming at evolving and improving their music.

After releasing two albums (2008’s Cage The Elephant and 2011’s Thank You, Happy Birthday), the band took some time off from touring to write as individuals for 2013’s, Melophobia. The band has sold out several headlining shows and has performed alongside great bands like Muse, Stone Temple Pilots, the Black Keys, Queens of the Stone Age, and more.

Right now they’re on tour with the Black Keys, so be sure to grab your friends and get your tickets ASAP. If you want to feel alive and get lost in the music, listen to AND go see Cage The Elephant. You won’t regret it.

Take a look at Cage The Elephant’s fantastic, cinematic new video for “Cigarette Daydreams,” a song from Melophobia.
