Brooklyn-based trio DREAMERS are “impractical,” “boundless” and “asleep to the waking world” – and we’re totally hooked.
The indie rock band, described as “a unique brand of grunge that is nostalgic for a space somewhere between art-school eccentric and the late 1970s punk scene,” is turning heads with their catchy tunes, reminiscent of alternative rock groups like Young the Giant. After first playing in a grunge band called Motive, Nick Wold, Chris Bagamery, and Nelson split off to form DREAMERS in 2014.
Their first EP was released in November of last year, and it’s foot-tappingly good. DREAMERS’ music is upbeat, fun and incredibly infectious (meaning you should put them on your summer playlist like, now).
One of their songs off the EP, “Wolves”, has been making waves on the radio and will have you hitting the repeat button again and again; it’s practically made for blasting in your car with the windows down.
Look out for their album, This Album Does Not Exist, this summer, or catch them on tour now.
