How To Throw A Last Minute Galentine’s Day Party

By  |  0 Comments

What do you get when you combine pink champagne, fancy dresses and your best girls? A Valentine’s bash that will go down in history. While most people focus on the romantic side of this holiday, we prefer to think of V-day as a celebration of all the people in our lives we love – best friends being at the top of that list. We’ve got all the ingredients you need to throw a killer party for all the loves of your life.

SERVE UP SOMETHING SWEET

We see Valentine’s Day as an excuse to get our fix of all things heart-shaped, pink and sugary. So have fun with your menu and serve some snacks that will satisfy everyone’s sweet tooth. We recommend a Boozy Donut Cake, infused with Bailey’s and topped with a colorful sprinkles.

Also some other great ideas include oreo truffles, oatmeal chocolate chip cranberry cookies, or chocolate-y caramel peanut butter Chex mix. Is your mouth watering yet?

COCKTAILS, COCKTAILS, COCKTAILS

What’s Valentine’s Day without a girly, pink drink? We took advantage of the fun candies that only come around this time of year and made ourselves some adorable stirrers to step up our cocktail game. Grab some wooden skewers, a little hot glue and your favorite candies and go to town.

SET UP A PHOTO BOOTH

If you didn’t Instagram a picture of your party, did it really happen? Now don’t get us wrong, we’re firm believers in putting our phones away when it comes to spending time with our bests, but we never say no to a good photo booth picture op. Plus everyone will be all dolled up! Just pick out a few yards of Valentine’s-y fabric from your local craft store and hang it up either by using command hooks or some strong double stick tape. Don’t forget a Be Mine Garland for a prop.

So did we convince you to ditch your plans with Ben and Jerry and The Notebook to throw a party?

Yeah, we thought so.
