1. DIY Olive Garden

What you’ll need:

  • Pasta and sauce of your choosing
  • A loaf or two of French bread
  • Cesar salad
  • Wine (of course)

Pasta + bread + wine is a surefire recipe for a yummy Italian meal that your roomies will love. If you’re in need of some culinary inspiration, this super simple Chicken Alfredo Ravioli Bake is to-die-for.

2. Mexican night

What you’ll need:

  • Pizza nachos ingredients (butter, olive oil, garlic, heavy cream, milk, salt, pepper, red pepper flakes, Parmesan cheese, tortilla chips, onion, pepperoni, black olives, green pepper and Colby Jack cheese)
  • Quesadillas or make-your-own tacos
  • Sangria (we love this refreshing white sangria recipe)

Why go out to a Mexican restaurant when you can stay in and whip up a batch of these ah-mazing pizza nachos? Grab some tortillas, cheese and sour cream for quesadillas or make-your-own tacos, serve some sangria if you’re feeling extra festive and voila; you’ve got yourself a fiesta!

3. Comfort food

What you’ll need:

  • Bread
  • Cheese slices (use a mix of cheeses for extra flavor)
  • Butter
  • Mac and cheese (while you can go the traditional route, we recommend this Lala-approved recipe, which uses bowtie pasta and garlic)

When it comes to comfort food, you can never go wrong with cheese, cheese and more cheese. Pair gooey grilled cheese and savory mac n’ cheese for a dinner match made in college-girl heaven.
