10 Acts That You Must See At Lollapalooza This Weekend

This weekend, the windy city of Chicago, IL is hosting one of the nation’s biggest musical festivals of the year: Lollapalooza. Don’t know who to see? Need some inspiration for planning your perfect day by day lineup? Look no further, the Lala has you covered with 10 acts you must see this weekend at Lolla.

1. Twenty One Pilots

Members of TØP, Tyler Joseph and Josh Dun, have such a killer energy both on and off stage. They adore doing festivals and totally bring it with their high energy alt pop rock songs. You’d be nuts to not see these two live!

2. LANY

Model turned lead singer, Paul James Klein and crew of LANY are an absolute must see at this year’s Lolla. They’re bringing 80s back and mixing it with indie pop in the absolute coolest way possible. Paul isn’t too sore on the eyes either (wink wink).

3. Halsey

I think we can establish that blue hair indie pop rising queen Halsey is a 100% bad ass. With female musicians taking over the industry one by one, Halsey is definitely one to watch for her bold lyrics and unique approach and style. She’s going to get the crowd bumpin’ and singing her awesome songs.

4. The Weeknd

With the voice of an angel and songs that move your mind and soul, The Weeknd is going to kill it with his set at Grand Park this weekend. He’s been everywhere in the last year from the radio to on stage with our girl TSwift and now it is your time to see him absolutely smash it on stage.

5. Kaskade

Calling all EDM fans, Kaskade is a festival must see. The songs will get your blood pumping and make you realize what a musical festival should be all about. Grab a buddy and make sure you’re in this crowd this weekend.

6. The Wombats

The Wombats do European music fests all the time so you should be stoked to see them on this year’s Lolla lineup. They’re high energy and have some thick, adorable British accents that will definitely have you swooning while you jam to their alt rock tunes.

7. ODESZA

Electronic music duo ODESZA are going to fill Grant Park with some sick beats this upcoming weekend. They are definitely one of the top EDM acts on this lineup. You’re going to be want to be close for them so plan ahead Lolla goers!

8. Chet Faker

Real life angel and mega talented dude, Chet Faker has taken over music in the last year. After partnering with artists like Flume to put out some great collabs and also releasing some fantastic solo music, Chet Faker is making his way to the windy city this weekend for the festival of the year.

9. COIN

If you want to hear some awesome up and coming alt pop tunes do not miss COIN’s set. This 4 piece band from Nashville, TN mix everything you need for a perfect indie pop song. You’ll be dancing the whole time, promise.

10. George Ezra

The soulful always adorable, George Ezra is going to be singing more than just his worldwide smash hit Budapest this weekend. His deep voice is going to filling the ears of thousands of festival goers and you better be one of them.
